The RAW package offers a straightforward retelling of your wedding day, focusing on capturing critical moments like the ceremony, speeches, and dances. Our professional team ensures exceptional audio and video quality with minimal editing, keeping the video authentic to the day itself. This package is recommended for those with a limited budget.
The HYBRID package combines cinematic elements with the RAW footage, adding background music that complements the tone of each scene. B-roll shots from aerial footage and scenic views of the venue enhance the overall experience.
Our most popular package, the MOVIE, provides a cinematic and faithful representation of your wedding day. Our skilled team specializes in cinematography, color grading, sound design, and video editing, resulting in a MOVIE experience that stands out from the rest.

What areas do you cover?
We are based in the Sacramento area and service anywhere within 3 hours. If you are outside of that area, please contact us. We love an excuse for a vacation.
How do I reserve a date?
Please send us an email on our Contact page regarding the date you’d like to reserve, and we will reach out to you within 1 business day.
How long does it take to make the video?
Making the perfect video takes time, and we strive to have it available to watch as soon as possible. The turn-around time is expected to be 8-12 weeks.
Can I choose the songs for the video?
We love to hear the type of music you like, it’s your video after all. However it is required that we provide royalty-free music. Please contact us for questions.
We want a video, but not a film set during our wedding. How do you film the event?
At JMG Films, we understand that while you want a video of your special day, you don’t want a film that overtakes the wedding itself. Our philosophy is simple – this is your day, and we prioritize your precious moments to enjoy without compromising a cinematic product.
Do you work with photographers?
We do not have a professional photographer we work with. However we do have recommendations upon request. And yes, we love to work with photographers.

What if I need more than 8 hours of on-site filming?
If your event requires more than 8 hours of on-site filming, rest assured that JMG Films has got you covered. We offer flexible packages to accommodate your needs, ensuring that you receive the best service tailored to your event. Please refer to our packages for pricing details.
Do you provide raw footage?
JMG Films does not offer raw footage. Our expert team films in SLOG3, which requires extensive color grading. Additionally, we source audio from multiple devices, ensuring perfect synchronization. However, we do provide an optional FOMO edit, allowing you to capture all the highlights of your event.
What are the differences between the 3 packages?
JMG Films offers three packages to choose from – RAW, HYBRID, and MOVIE.
The RAW package provides an uncut and professional capture of your day, featuring footage from 1-3 cameras and separate audio source captures. It does not include music overlay, heavy color grading, or sound design.
The HYBRID is similar to the RAW, but provides royalty-free music, drone coverage, setting shots, sfx, and heavier editing, to create a moderate cinematic tone.
On the other hand, the MOVIE package is a cinematic representation of your day. Professionally edited, color-graded, and sound-designed, it showcases the key moments that truly shine through. At JMG Films, we ensure that your day is represented in a unique and authentic way, without compromising what makes it special – YOU.
What if I don’t want a drone?
The drone is a low profile, and quiet. And unless requested we prefer not to fly during the ceremony.
Aerial videos provide a great new perspective to our videos, and your special day. But having said that, this is your day it is your choice if you want the drone.
Can you fly the drone at my Venue?
There are a few locations where we are not allowed to fly. Please reach out to us for details.
Can you fly the drone inside?
We do not fly our drone inside of buildings.
What if we are doing a first look? Can you film it?
This is a critical moment and part of our MOVIE package if time allows. We believe these shots greatly enhance the end video.
Do you take photos during the wedding?
JMG Films focuses on videos only.
What information do you need before the wedding date?
We will provide you with all the necessary information to ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly and is filled with fun. For a seamless experience, we recommend sharing the same details with your DJ, photographer, and JMG Films. This includes your schedule, music preferences, and location. By keeping everyone in the loop, we can help make your special day truly unforgettable.
What is a FOMO edit?
FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) edits are full-length edits of your wedding day. We capture every moment, from the ceremony to the speeches, dancing, cake cutting, and other important events. Our skilled editors splice together the audio for optimal sound quality, while lightly color-editing the video. This allows you to relive all the precious moments of your special day. Depending on the length of speeches and ceremony, the FOMO edit can range anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. Trust us to create a timeless keepsake that you’ll cherish forever.
